Stonecliffe College Online, an academic division of Colorado Technical University, offers valuable benefits for eligible veterans and active-duty military and their immediate family members. We participate in the Montgomery G.I. Bill program, are a DANTES-affiliated university, a member of the Service members Opportunity College, and accept many federal and private aid programs.
The flexibility and convenience of the university's Associate's degree programs are ideal for military personnel, because students are able to study anytime, anywhere, no matter where they are stationed. Military Education Service Officers will garner the following benefits from the Military Education Program:
5% Tuition Grant* for all Active-Duty Military and their Spouses
Military installations or organizations that participate in the Education Program receive a 5% grant* in the name of each base or veterans' group for each member and their immediate family in addition to the benefits offered by the Montgomery GI Bill, DANTES and other servicemember benefits.
Active-duty military or reservists who are affiliated with a member base or organization may qualify for a 10% tuition grant*. This is possible when we combine the 5% grant* allotted to active-duty military, reservists and their spouses through our existing military grant* program. Additionally, the $50 application fee is waived. Talk to the Education Program representative to learn more.
Thorough Transcript Evaluation Process
Stonecliffe College Online will review each applicant's transcripts so they are able to obtain the maximum college credit award allowable for military experience, military training and occupational specialties.
Financial Aid
Our university has a military-specific website that provides information on admissions, financial aid and more to simplify the application process. Additionally, all military applicants will be assigned to a Financial Aid Advisor who has experience working with the military and will ensure that all military benefits available for education are pursued.
Seminar Speakers at your Events
We will provide speakers for your installation or group who will discuss the unique benefits of a Stonecliffe College Online education for members of the military.
All Application Fees Waived
Military applicants enrolling through the Education Program will have their application fee waived.
Streamlined Communication & Administrative Processes
Stonecliffe College Online's staff will work with you to develop an internal communications plan detailing the unique features and benefits of getting a degree at our school. This plan can include mailers, website links, displays, and other types of collateral materials.
We will also streamline the process of student administration and accounting to make it easier to coordinate enrollment, tuition reimbursement and student payments.
