Fitting a meaningful educational experience into today's demanding lifestyles, schedules and obligations poses challenges for many students. But at Stonecliffe College Online, we've taken a more modern approach to education that introduces flexibility and convenience into the concept of learning.
Our Practical Approach to College Education (PACE™) empowers you to control the pace at which you progress through your chosen degree program. All students begin with a single course during the first session. However, beginning with the second session, they can choose between an accelerated and decelerated pace.
If you choose the accelerated option, you'll take two courses every 5 ½ week session. By taking two courses at a time, a student can complete the Associate's program in as little as 15 calendar months.
If you choose the decelerated option, you'll take just one course every 5 ½ week session. By taking just one course at a time, a student can complete the program in 30 calendar months.
After completing the first 5 ½ week session, all students default to an accelerated pace of study unless they inform their advisors of their desire to keep learning at a decelerated pace.
At the start of every new session, you'll even have the freedom to switch back and forth between the accelerated and decelerated pace by contacting your advisor and informing him/her of your decision.
The flexible pace of our programs can prove to be beneficial to students trying to maximize their education benefits from the military or from companies offering tuition reimbursement. Learning at a slower pace can mean that such benefits can be spread over a greater period of time, maximizing their value to students and making a quality education even more cost-efficient over the course of time.
